Faith Based Consulting for church leaders

Leaders lead and envision possibilities others cannot fathom.  They spearhead ideas and objectives, and are catalysts for change.  Like anyone else, Leaders need training and opportunities to learn ways to improve their craft and take action on the vision.  They also need our prayers and support.  Occasionally, life gets in the way, requiring Leaders to seek that gentle nudge to get back on track from a trusted Mentor and Coach. Mentorship goes beyond the concept of coaching with directed and firm conversations that enable successful change. 

Leaders who truly seek personal growth and development do not shy away from Mentorship, but invite the opportunity to learn from their Mentor.  While others frown upon Mentoring, Leaders understand that they do not have all the answers, but are prepared to learn and to apply concepts and principles that empower them, their church, group or organization to grow. 

Challenging ourselves to improve daily is God's plan for us to use our gifts, talents and divine purpose for the sole purpose of glorifying God and to bless others.  Church leadership is not an easy task, and the reason we ought to seek divine guidance, as well as open our mind to increasing knowledge and wisdom. As a Church leader, you have accepted a calling to lead.  We accept the responsibility and are therefore obliged to be prepared, as a soldier of God.  We cannot go into battle without proper training and/or without spiritual guidance to serve God’s purpose and be a blessing to others. 

Give volunteers a big piece of the youth ministry. Otherwise, they’ll find a place that trusts them with more. A great leader surrounds themselves with great leaders—and then gives them a chance to demonstrate it. If you’re intimidated by good leadership around you, you’ll continually limit them to pacify your own insecurities.
